Terms of Use

Last updated October 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Rippd. They cover the Rippd website, apps and APIs (together, the “Service”). Please read them closely: once a transaction is on-chain, there is very little anyone can do to change it.

01Accepting these Terms

By connecting a wallet, signing in or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Rippd.

02Who can use Rippd

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and legally allowed to use crypto-asset services in your jurisdiction. You may not use Rippd if you are subject to sanctions or if the Service is prohibited where you are. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including tax rules. Some features, such as packs or the card market, may be restricted or unavailable in some regions.

03Your wallet, your keys

Rippd is non-custodial. We never hold your funds, private keys or recovery phrase, and we can't recover them if they're lost. Every action that moves assets is a transaction you review and sign in your own wallet. Signing in only signs a message and never moves funds.

You are responsible for the security of your wallet and device. Anyone with access to your wallet can act as you on Rippd.

04Transactions are final

Transactions on Solana are public and irreversible. Once a transaction confirms, neither Rippd nor anyone else can cancel, reverse or refund it. This includes pack payments, token burns, set creation fees, service fees, and card sales and purchases.

  • The amounts a transaction will move are shown before you sign it.
  • Burned tokens are destroyed and can't be recovered by anyone.
  • Network fees are paid to the Solana network, not to Rippd, and can't be refunded.
  • If a transaction never confirms, it has no effect and nothing is charged.

05Card sets, packs and cards

A card set is a collection of trading cards that a Rippd user builds on an existing Solana token. Rippd provides the tools and the marketplace. It doesn't issue the tokens that sets are built on.

  • Packs: a pack is paid in its set's token at the price shown, plus a service fee in SOL. Part of the token payment is burned and the rest goes to the token creator's wallet, as shown before you sign. Cards are drawn with the published odds, using verifiable randomness. A pack is final once its payment confirms.
  • Supply: every card has a maximum supply, and every copy carries a serial number. Sold-out cards are no longer drawn, and a set whose cards are all gone stops selling packs.
  • Fixed at publishing: a set's cards, rarities, supplies and burn share are fixed when it's published and never change. Its pack price may change for future packs.
  • Ownership: cards are compressed NFTs minted to your wallet. Owning a card gives you that NFT, not the copyright in its artwork or any rights in the token's name or brand.
  • Fees: fees and limits are shown in the app and may change for future transactions.

06Tokens are third-party assets

The tokens that card sets are built on are created and traded by third parties, for example on pump.fun. Rippd doesn't issue, sell, trade or control them, and isn't responsible for their price, supply, liquidity, smart contracts or the people behind them.

  • Token summaries: the token details Rippd shows, such as price, market cap, creator and amount burned, come from public on-chain data and outside price sources. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
  • Token creator: payouts go to the wallet that Rippd identifies on-chain as the token's creator. Rippd doesn't guarantee that this wallet belongs to the people currently running the project.
  • Supported tokens: Rippd may decline tokens whose programs or extensions could break payments, and may stop supporting a token at any time.
  • No affiliation: Rippd isn't affiliated with pump.fun. Links to pump.fun and to Solana explorers are there for convenience.

07Official and Community sets

Anyone can build a card set on any token. A set is marked Official only when Rippd has verified that the token's own team made or endorsed it: automatically, when the set's wallet matches the token's creator, update authority or mint authority on-chain, or after reviewing evidence the team provides. Every other set is marked Community.

  • Community sets: they are made by fans or other users. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the token's team, even when they show the token's name, ticker or image.
  • Badges: a badge says who made a set. It says nothing about the quality or value of its cards. Rippd may remove a badge, or delist a set, if a verification turns out to be wrong.
  • Impersonation: don't present a Community set as official, or yourself as the token's team.

08The card market

Rippd's card market lets users sell cards to each other, priced in the token the set is built on. Every sale is between a seller and a buyer. Rippd provides the interface and carries out the transfer you authorize, but it is not a party to any sale, doesn't set prices, and never buys cards, from you or anyone else.

  • Listing: to list a card, you sign a transaction that delegates that card to Rippd. You agree that Rippd may use this delegation to transfer the card to a buyer who pays your price, in a single transaction. The card stays in your wallet until it sells.
  • Prices: you set your price in the set's token and can change it by signing a message with your wallet. Rippd completes a sale only at the latest price you signed. SOL amounts shown next to prices are estimates.
  • Fees: each sale pays a market fee to Rippd and a royalty to the token creator's wallet, both taken from the price. Current rates are on the Fees page.
  • Cancelling: you can cancel a listing at any time, and Rippd stops acting on it at once. The delegation stays on-chain until you revoke it or the card leaves your wallet. A listing also closes by itself if its card leaves your wallet or its set stops being tradable.
  • Final sales: completed sales are on-chain and irreversible. Rippd can't reverse, cancel or refund them, and doesn't mediate disputes between users.
  • No guaranteed value: cards have no guaranteed value or liquidity. Rippd doesn't promise that any card will sell, or at any price.
  • Availability: only cards of sets listed on Rippd can be traded here. We may pause the market, and it may be restricted or unavailable in some regions, including where the law requires.

09Devnet test assets

While Rippd runs on Solana devnet, all SOL, tokens and cards are test assets with no monetary value. Devnet data may be reset at any time without notice.

10No investment advice

Cards are collectibles, and the tokens that sets are built on are third-party assets. Neither is offered as an investment, and nothing on Rippd is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Token prices are volatile and can fall to zero, cards have no guaranteed value, and Rippd never buys cards back. Only use funds you can afford to lose.

11Building a set and your content

If you build a set, you confirm that you own or have licensed all rights to the images, names and text you upload, and that they don't infringe anyone else's rights or break these Terms.

A set shows the name, ticker and image of the token it's built on, so collectors know which token it uses. They remain their owners' property. Building a set gives you no rights in them, and unless your set is Official, you must not use them to suggest that the token's team made or endorses it.

Building a set doesn't make you its payee: the unburned share of every pack and the market royalties go to the token's creator.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant Rippd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, display and distribute it as needed to run and promote the Service, including in card renders and NFT metadata. A set's cards lock when it's published and its manifest is published permanently, so this licence can't be withdrawn for published sets.

12Content rules

Don't upload, post or link to:

  • art you don't have the rights to, or that impersonates another artist, brand, project or token team
  • illegal content, or any sexual content involving minors
  • hate, harassment, threats or graphic violence
  • malware, phishing links or scams
  • other people's private information

13Moderation and delisting

We review reports and verification requests, and may run automated checks on uploads. We may hide comments, delist sets, remove badges, remove content or restrict accounts when we believe these Terms or the law require it.

A delisted set is hidden from Rippd: its packs can no longer be opened here, and its cards can't be listed or bought on the Rippd market, though sellers can still cancel open listings. Packs already confirmed on-chain still settle. Tokens and cards live on Solana, so delisting doesn't remove them from wallets or other apps.

14Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service. In particular, don't:

  • interfere with, overload or attack the Service, or get around its rate limits
  • exploit bugs instead of reporting them
  • manipulate card markets or token prices, for example through wash trading, coordinated pumps or sales between your own wallets
  • access other people's accounts or data without permission

15Third-party services

Rippd relies on services we don't control, including the Solana network, pump.fun and other token platforms, Metaplex, Switchboard, RPC and price-data providers, and your wallet. We aren't responsible for their availability, security or behaviour, and their own terms may apply.

16Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Rippd isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by market movements, network or smart-contract failures, or a compromised wallet. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

17Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. You can stop using Rippd at any time, and we may suspend or end access if you break these Terms.

Contact details for legal notices will be published here before Rippd launches on mainnet.
