Provably fair

Every pack is drawn from randomness nobody controls — Rippd included. Here's how it works, and how to check any pack yourself.

How a pack is drawn

  1. SHA-2569a42d71f626c71ad52638a2432f48a5d

    Commit

    When a set is published, its cards, each card's max supply and the drop rates are frozen into a manifest (foil-manifest-v3), and its SHA-256 hash goes into the set's record and its collection metadata. Opening a pack pays in the set's token — part burned, the rest to the token creator — in a transaction that also commits to a randomness request, before anyone can know the result.
  2. 0c f8 364d b8 8eff fd a3a3 04 1a

    Reveal

    Only after the payment confirms does the Switchboard oracle reveal a 32-byte random value on-chain. If the oracle can't respond, a recent Solana slot hash is used instead (slothash).
  3. { }

    Verify

    foil-draw-v3 hashes that value with the pack ID and slot number to pick every card, among the cards that still have copies. A slot that rolls a sold-out tier takes the next tier down (then up). The proof lists the copies left before the pack, so anyone can recompute it — the verifier below runs it right in your browser.

Verify a pack

Paste a pack ID. You'll find it in your pack history, after opening a pack, and on every pull page.
